Blogging Through Biblical DoctrineHave you wanted to read a theology book, but haven’t known where to begin? In this series, Jess is blogging through John MacArthur and Richard Mayhue’s book, Biblical Doctrine. Print the study guides at the bottom of each post (or on the Resources page) and follow along! Also, be sure to join the associated women’s Facebook page to discuss the study with other Christian women. Finally, if you want to go back and start at the beginning you may find the Introduction article here.
It sure feels great to be back into some normal routines after the holidays. I’ve been praying about this study quite a bit over the break. I’m praying about changing how I deliver these study guides to you, and possibly delivering them to you in groups, rather than one by one.
My goal is to ultimately have them organized a bit better on the website, and I want to work smarter not harder. I’m thinking and praying. Nothing is set in stone yet. But feel free to pray along with me. I’m always grateful for your encouragement and prayers.
This week’s study is loaded with definitions and various views on what happens after we die. It’s amazing how much our belief on this one topic informs our worldview. There is so much to discuss in these few pages!
Here is your study guide for this week Anthropology 5.
I’ll see you next week for our discussion on man and society.
